Asda Stores Ltd in Reading area is hiring a Pharmacy Colleague for our in-store Pharmacy. The role involves assembling and processing prescriptions, advising customers on health matters and supporting the Pharmacist with services and record keeping.

Training to become a Medicine Counter Assistant is provided within 6 months, with potential progression to a Dispensing Assistant. You'll work 36 hours per week in dayshift patterns, with weekend shifts required.

• Must pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
• Flexible working to cover shifts, including weekends.
• Comfortable discussing personal health issues with customers.
• Ability to assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Commitment to following Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
• Assist customers with health queries and guidance.
• Support Pharmacist in patient services and record keeping.
• Drive awareness of Pharmacy services (e.g., collection, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries for store pickup.
• Develop knowledge to progress toward Medicine Counter Assistant and Dispensing Assistant roles.
