Job summary

ASDA Stores Ltd in Shrewsbury is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague to join our in-store Pharmacy team on a permanent part-time basis. You will work 18 hours per week with afternoon shifts, earning £13.10 per hour and supporting dispensing and customer service duties.

You'll complete an accredited course to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and progress toward dispensing duties while delivering friendly, personalised healthcare support to customers.

Qualifications

• Friendly and organised with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to use computer systems and handle multiple tasks.
• Good numerical and communication skills for guiding customers.
• Willing to learn and progress through pharmacy training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Assist pharmacist and support patient services.
• Collect prescriptions from GP surgeries and prepare for collection.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Blood pressure checks and Medicines Use Reviews.
