Asda Stores in Shrewsbury is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague for part-time work in our in-store pharmacy. You will assemble and process prescriptions, discuss health services, and support the Pharmacist while building friendly, helpful customer interactions.

The role requires weekend work and the ability to pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Training will include earning a Medicine Counter Assistant qualification within 6 months, with progression towards a Dispensing Assistant role as you grow.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Drive awareness of pharmacy services (Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews).
• Support Pharmacist with patient services (blood pressure checks, smoking cessation).
• Collect prescriptions from doctors and bring to the store for pickup.
