Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd. in Kingswood is looking for a part-time Pharmacy Colleague to assemble and process prescriptions and assist customers with health-related questions.

The role involves promoting services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews, and supporting the Pharmacist with patient services. You will complete an accredited course to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and progress toward a Dispensing Assistant role.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and clear communication with customers.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail in a busy retail pharmacy.
• Basic computer skills; willingness to learn pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
• Support Pharmacist with patient services and record keeping.
• Discuss health issues with customers and direct them to appropriate products.
• Collect prescriptions from doctor surgeries and bring to the store.
