Job summary

Asda is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague in Donnington Wood. This part-time role (14 hours per week) requires working days with weekend shifts. You will assemble and process prescriptions, assist customers, and help promote services such as Prescription Collection and Medicines Use Reviews.

Enhanced safeguarding checks apply, and training will lead you toward becoming a Medicine Counter Assistant within six months. You should be friendly, organised, and good with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Promote pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
• Support patient services and record keeping (blood pressure checks, smoking cessation programmes).
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to maintain service standards.
• Assist with collecting prescriptions from the GP, bringing them to the store for collection.
• Aim to become Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and progress to Dispensing Assistant.
