Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Bideford is recruiting a Pharmacy Colleague on a part-time basis to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will assist with dispensing, customer service and healthcare guidance while progressing through accredited training to become a Medicine Counter Assistant and later a Dispensing Assistant.

The role requires passing an enhanced safeguarding check, weekend availability, and strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Friendly and organised individual with good computer skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent customer service.
• Willing to complete accredited pharmacy training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembling and processing prescriptions.
• Support the Pharmacist with patient services and record-keeping.
• Promote pharmacy services (Blood pressure checks, Medicines Use Reviews, etc.).
• Collect and deliver prescriptions from GP surgeries to store for collection.
• Develop knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and maintain accuracy.
