Role: Clinical Pharmacist (Rotational)

Location: London Bridge Hospital, London

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 09.00am-17.30pm plus on-calls & weekend requirements

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience

We have an exciting opportunity for a Rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK’s largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.

Job Responsibilities
  • As a key member of the Pharmacy team, you will contribute to the development and provision of a comprehensive, high quality, safe and efficient patient-centred pharmacy service, which consistently meet the needs of all service users within the London Bridge Hospital Campus.

  • As a Clinical Pharmacist being a champion for medicines management across the hospital and facilitating the use of patient’s own drugs, ensuring appropriate medicines supply and clinical advice to clinicians and other healthcare professions.

  • Lastly, you will be involved with providing a comprehensive and effective patient-centred clinical pharmacy service to designated wards & care locations. This position will provide you with the opportunity to work in various clinical disciplines including orthopaedic & spinal surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, hepatic, cardiology, oncology/haematology and critical care.

What you’ll bring
  • Registered with GPhC

  • Completed or currently undertaking a post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent

  • Experience working within a hospital pharmacy setting
