Clear IT Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join a team across Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton or Whitefield in Greater Manchester. You will manage a varied PI caseload, handling accidents at work, public liability, road traffic accidents and clinical negligence matters where appropriate.

The role suits a solicitor who is organized, self-sufficient, and confident managing their own caseload, with hybrid working following a 3-month probation period.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE in Personal Injury.
• Experience handling a broad range of Personal Injury claims.
• Confident managing a caseload independently.
• Self-sufficient, organized and able to work across a branch-based structure.
• Proficient with legal technology.
• Experience using claim management software.
• Experience using the Claims Portal, Court Portal and High Court Portal.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied personal injury caseload across Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton or Whitefield, Greater Manchester.
• Handle accidents at work, public liability, road traffic accident and clinical negligence claims as appropriate.
• Manage defendant PI matters, including uninsured defendants.
• Maintain accurate case records and progress matters to deadlines and procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues across the firm’s offices.
• Maintain strong client relationships and efficient case progression.

My client is recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join their team across Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton or Whitefield, Greater Manchester.

This is an opportunity to join an established Personal Injury department, managing a varied caseload across a range of claimant and defendant matters. The role would suit a solicitor who is organised, self sufficient and confident managing their own caseload.

The Role

• Managing a varied personal injury caseload.
• Handling accidents at work, excluding most industrial disease matters.
• Handling public liability claims including trips and slips.
• Handling road traffic accident claims, excluding generally whiplash matters.
• Handling clinical negligence claims, excluding cases against therapists and mental health practitioners where there is no physical injury.
• Handling defendant personal injury matters, including uninsured defendant cases.
• Managing matters efficiently and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working closely with colleagues across the firm's offices.
• Maintaining accurate case records and progressing matters in accordance with relevant deadlines and procedures.

The Candidate

• Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE.
• Have demonstrable experience in Personal Injury.
• Have experience handling a broad range of personal injury claims.
• Be confident managing a caseload independently.
• Be self sufficient, organised and able to work effectively across a branch based structure.
• Be computer literate and confident using relevant legal technology.
• Have experience using claim management software.
• Have experience using the Claims Portal, Court Portal and High Court Portal.
• Have excellent communication and client care skills.
