Job summary

Law Staff Limited is assisting a leading Legal 500 firm in North West England to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor. The role offers a varied caseload sourced firm-wide, with opportunities to develop relationships across the business.

The solicitor will handle accidents at work, public liability, road traffic and clinical negligence matters, including defendant cases with uninsured defendants, in a supportive, high-quality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with managing personal injury caseloads and client file handling.
• Familiarity with Claims Portal, Court Portal and High Court Portal workflows.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage Personal Injury claims including road traffic, public liability and accidents at work.
• Liaise with clients, experts and opposing solicitors to progress claims.
• Utilise portals and case management tools to maintain accurate records.

• Public liability claims, including trips, slips and similar accidents.
• Road traffic accidents, generally excluding whiplash claims.
• Clinical negligence claims, excluding cases against therapists or mental health practitioners where there is no physical injury.
• Defendant cases, including claims involving uninsured defendants.
