Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join their team across Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton or Whitefield. You will manage a varied PI caseload, handling accidents at work, public liability, road traffic accidents, clinical negligence, and uninsured defendant matters.

The candidate should be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE, confident managing a caseload independently, and proficient with legal tech and portal systems; hybrid

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE in Personal Injury.
• Experience handling a broad range of personal injury claims.
• Able to manage a caseload independently.
• Self-sufficient, organised and able to work across a branch-based structure.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied personal injury caseload.
• Handle accidents at work and public liability claims.
• Handle road traffic accident claims (excluding whiplash).
• Handle clinical negligence claims (excluding non-injury cases).
• Manage defendant personal injury matters (including uninsured defendants).
• Maintain accurate case records and progress matters per deadlines.

Job description

My client is recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join their team across Leigh, Warrington, Westhoughton or Whitefield, Greater Manchester.

This is an opportunity to join an established Personal Injury department, managing a varied caseload across a range of claimant and defendant matters. The role would suit a solicitor who is organised, self sufficient and confident managing their own caseload.

The Role

• Managing a varied personal injury caseload.
• Handling accidents at work, excluding most industrial disease matters.
• Handling public liability claims including trips and slips.
• Handling road traffic accident claims, excluding generally whiplash matters.
• Handling clinical negligence claims, excluding cases against therapists and mental health practitioners where there is no physical injury.
• Handling defendant personal injury matters, including uninsured defendant cases.
• Managing matters efficiently and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working closely with colleagues across the firm's offices.
• Maintaining accurate case records and progressing matters in accordance with relevant deadlines and procedures.

The Candidate

• Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE.
• Have demonstrable experience in Personal Injury.
• Have experience handling a broad range of personal injury claims.
• Be confident managing a caseload independently.
• Be self sufficient, organised and able to work effectively across a branch based structure.
• Be computer literate and confident using relevant legal technology.
• Have experience using claim management software.
• Have experience using the Claims Portal, Court Portal and High Court Portal.
• Have excellent communication and client care skills.
