Job description

Our client is a well-established law firm with a strong reputation in personal injury and criminal injuries compensation work. It is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Criminal Injuries (CICA) team based in Greater Manchester.

Role Overview

As a Paralegal, you will manage your own caseload of CICA (Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority) and personal injury claims. You will support vulnerable clients through the claims process, delivering high-quality legal assistance and helping them achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will work closely with an experienced team that is nationally recognised in this area of law.

The role also includes contributing to the wider growth of the firm through networking, marketing activities and participation in local events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of CICA and personal injury claims from initial instruction to resolution
  • Communicate effectively with clients, medical professionals and third parties
  • Draft legal documentation and correspondence
Experience Required
  • Previous experience handling CICA claims and/or personal injury matters in a paralegal or legal assistant role
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
