Job summary

A care support agency is seeking Personal Assistants to support an active 6-year-old boy in Crawley. The role involves providing personal care and companionship, participating in social and leisure activities, and assisting with daily routines. Applicants should be reliable, patient, and able to work collaboratively. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required. The position involves 12 hours of work per week at £15 per hour plus mileage expenses.

Employment Details

Employment status: Employed

Hours per week: 12 hours per week outside of school hours, to be shared between 2 PAs to cover a 2:1 role. Please apply with your availability.

Pay rate: £15 per hour. Mileage expenses: 45p per mile

Duties
  • Personal grooming
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance
  • Accessing social and leisure activities e.g. walks, swimming, creative activities
  • Working alongside another PA (this is a 2:1 role)
  • Setting up and participating in creative and sensory activities at home
  • Whist at home, participate/assist with craft/painting/sensory activities
Candidate Qualities

  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

Additional Requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
