Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active, and socially connected lives, helping them achieve what matters most to them.

Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

We are seeking Personal Assistants to work with a 49-year-old gentleman living in Craigmillar. Various hours of work are available.

About this opportunity

This gentleman has a diagnosis of Autism and Bipolar disorder. He is a loving, caring man who enjoys laughter.

He maintains a weekly routine that includes swimming and horse riding, which are very important to him. He is tactile, fun, enjoys company, and likes to chat. He is very capable and does not require support with personal care. He is a delight to know.

Experience with Autism or mental health would be beneficial.

  • Salary: From 1st April 2025, starting at £12.60/hour (£25,552 FTE), increasing to £12.90/hour (£26,161 FTE).
