Job summary

Meadow Park School is seeking an IT Technician to manage and maintain the school’s curriculum network and provide first line IT support to pupils and staff. You will lead on whole school IT systems and ensure they operate at an optimum level at all times.

The successful candidate will handle staff technical issues, diagnose faults, manage Active Directory, and administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, ensuring asset registers are accurate.

Qualifications

• Be the main point of contact for staff IT issues and prioritise tasks.
• Diagnose and fix faults on PCs, laptops, tablets, printers and peripherals.
• Manage the school network directory and key services (e.g. DHCP, DNS, Group Policy).
• Develop a maintenance/refresh schedule for hardware and software.
• Support the Arbor MIS system and maintain accurate assets records.

Responsibilities

• Act as frontline IT support for students and staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across devices.
• Administer Active Directory and ensure core services are running smoothly.
• Create and follow a maintenance schedule for IT equipment.
• Support school MIS (Arbor) and manage asset disposal records.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
