Seetec is hiring a Support Worker (Peripatetic) to join the CFO Evolution programme on a long term FTC until December 2028, based at HMP Channings Wood / Torquay Community. You will assess needs, deliver tailored interventions and build relationships with stakeholders in custodial and community settings.

You will manage a caseload, deliver one-to-one and group sessions, support pre-release work and release planning, and travel across the prison cluster.

Qualifications

• Experience in probation/custodial settings preferred.
• Lived experience of challenges such as involvement with the criminal justice system is valued.
• Empathy, resilience and understanding are essential for the role.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of participants across custody and community settings.
• Deliver one-to-one and group interventions, providing motivational support and guidance.
• Complete pre-release and Through the Gate support, including assessments, action plans, progress reviews and release preparation.
• Build positive relationships that help participants overcome barriers and reduce their risk of reoffending.
• Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality records to meet contractual, operational and compliance requirements.
• Safeguard adults and children by identifying, managing and reporting risks in line with organisational and Probation Service procedures.
• Support participants to access services such as housing, mental health support, substance misuse services and healthcare.
• Work collaboratively with peer mentors, volunteers, prison staff and external partners to deliver coordinated support.
• Meet individual performance targets while contributing to wider team objectives and service outcomes.
• Travel across the allocated prison cluster to deliver services, manage caseloads and attend internal and external meetings.
• Actively participate in, and promote Prevent and the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
• Adhere to the company’s policies and procedures always, including safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, quality, health and safety and IT.
• To undertake any other duties, as required, appropriate to the post
