Job summary

Ibstock PLC, a British brick and building products manufacturer, seeks an Employee Services Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead the Employee Services & Administration team for around 1,800 colleagues across the UK.

You will own the full employee lifecycle administration, drive process improvements, ensure data quality and align with payroll and broader People teams. Hybrid working available across UK locations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an HR administration, employee services or shared services team.
• Strong understanding of administration processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience using HR information systems and MS Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and data quality with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Employee Services & Administration team.
• Oversee day-to-day lifecycle administration (contracts, onboarding, changes, leaves, leavers, etc.).
• Ensure accuracy, service levels and timely responses; act as escalation point.
• Maintain data quality across HR systems and conduct regular audits.
• Produce routine reports to support decision-making and service improvements.
• Drive standardisation, automation and digitalisation of processes.
