Job summary

Ibstock Plc is seeking an experienced Employee Relations & Policy Manager to lead the delivery of our UK employee relations service across multiple sites. Reporting to the Head of Employee Services, you will provide legally compliant, commercially minded advice to help managers make confident people decisions and maintain a positive colleague experience.

This senior role combines case management, policy leadership, coaching and data-driven improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-risk ER matters across multiple sites
• Build and maintain relationships with trade unions and employee representatives
• Lead consultation and negotiation on collective matters and organisational change
• Support Employment Tribunal preparation with external legal advisers
• Coach managers to handle ER issues confidently and fairly
• Design training, toolkits and guidance to build management capability
• Develop and implement ER policies reflecting legislation and business needs
• Analyze case data to translate insights into recommendations for leaders
• Collaborate with Operations and People to influence ER strategy and risk
• Improve ER processes, systems and ways of working
• Develop and mentor the Employee Relations Specialist
