Job summary

Flock in London is seeking a hands-on People Operations lead to own the employee lifecycle, payroll input, benefits, the HRIS (HiBob), and office events. You will design a modern People function at a fast-growing company where automation and AI-native workflows replace repetitive admin.

Reporting to Senior People Partner, you’ll partner across the business from onboarding to CEO, ensuring data integrity, compliance with UK employment law, and a culture of high standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on People or HR Operations experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Payroll input and benefits administration experience.
• Strong HRIS skills and data handling capability.
• Experience building AI-driven workflows and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle: contracts, right-to-work, onboarding, leavers, probations, changes.
• Be first point of contact for people queries, audits, and HR templates.
• Own HRIS (HiBob) and people data; deliver monthly reporting and metrics.
• Own payroll input end to end and liaise with Finance on year-end.
• Own benefits administration and communications with providers.
• Develop AI-native workflows to automate routine processes.
• Partner with IT on access automation and data audits.
