Job summary

Inspire Education Group (IEG) is seeking a People Services Operations Assistant to join our People Services team in Peterborough. This role offers varied exposure to recruitment, onboarding, staff development and wellbeing initiatives.

As the first point of contact, you will deliver a professional, friendly service to staff, managers and visitors, while ensuring accurate HR records and compliance with training requirements.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
• Previous administration experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
• A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and professional People Services reception service.
• Support recruitment, interview scheduling and onboarding processes.
• Maintain staff records and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor mandatory training and CPD completion.
• Support probationary reviews, absence management administration and lifecycle processes.
• Assist with staff development activities, wellbeing initiatives and reward events.
• Provide administrative support across the wider People Services team.
