Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a People Partner to provide hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle, managing Employee Relations cases from investigation through to appeal while coaching managers and delivering people-focused projects. This is a role for someone who can quickly build relationships, hit the ground running and apply solid employment legislation knowledge and ACAS guidance.

The 3-month fixed-term contract includes a day rate up to £200, hybrid working with one day from home,

Qualifications

• Strong employee relations experience in an HR role.
• Able to manage disciplinary, grievance, and absence cases.
• Confident advising managers and coaching.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and ACAS guidance.
• Open sector background and ability to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Managing Employee Relations cases from investigation to hearing and appeal.
• Provide practical HR advice and coaching to managers.
• Support disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management cases.
• Review and develop people policies and procedures.
• Deliver manager training and guidance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and wider HR projects.
• Drive engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
