Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a People Partner to provide hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle, managing Employee Relations cases from investigation through to appeal while coaching managers. The role is varied and demands the ability to build credibility with managers and stakeholders quickly.

You will review policies, deliver manager training, support recruitment and onboarding, and drive engagement and wellbeing initiatives across two sites with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Strong Employee Relations experience.
• Confident managing cases independently.
• Understanding of employment legislation and ACAS guidance.
• Able to hit the ground running from day one.
• Open sector background.

Responsibilities

• Managing Employee Relations cases from investigation through to hearing and appeal
• Providing practical HR advice and coaching to managers
• Supporting disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management cases
• Reviewing and developing people policies and procedures
• Delivering manager training and guidance
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and wider HR projects
• Helping to drive engagement and wellbeing initiatives
