A leading firm in the Legal sector is seeking a People and Culture Advisor to join their HR department on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves overseeing onboarding processes, maintaining employee records, and acting as the first point of contact for HR queries. Job description

Our client, a leading firm in the Legal sector, is seeking a People and Culture Advisor to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth, our client is looking to hire a People and Culture Advisor to join their HR department, where you will be working closely with the wider team to help support and guide Managers within the firm with all people-related tasks, whilst acting as the go‑to for HR queries, questions and advice whilst supporting the firm's wider people strategy.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience and will ideally be CIPD qualified.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding, including staff inductions and exit interviews.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring the internal HR systems are maintained and updated regularly.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee-related questions and HR queries.
  • Assist with recruitment.
  • Provide guidance on employee-related matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, absences and performance.
  • Support with HR-related projects across the firm.
  • >Key Experience
    • Minimum of 35 years' HR experience.
    • Previous experience in the Legal / professional services field would be advantageous, although not essential.
    • CIPD Level 3 / 5 qualified.
    • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is maintained at all times.
    • Confident liaising with colleagues of all levels across the firm.
    • Able to advise and guide Management with people-related queries.
