City College Norwich, Easton & Paston College is seeking an experienced People Advisor to join the People Services team. You will provide professional, proactive employee relations guidance to managers across the college and act as the first point of contact for a wide range of matters.

The role involves managing lower-level employee relations cases, supporting policy application, and escalating complex issues to People Partners.

Competenze

• CIPD Level 3 qualified with solid HR experience.
• Willing to work towards CIPD Level 5.
• Experience in HR or People Services environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive with a mindset to deliver outstanding service.

Mansioni

• Provide first-line employee relations advice to managers and employees on policies and terms.
• Manage a range of employee relations cases including probation, attendance, performance, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Support investigations and hearings with note-taking and administrative support.
• Coach managers to handle people matters confidently and consistently.
• Assist with absence management, Occupational Health referrals and wellbeing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure GDPR compliance.
