Job summary

Tyne Coast College invites an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR team. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide a professional generalist advisory service across the College, handling employee relations, change, recruitment, attendance management and policy development.

You will manage a diverse caseload, coach managers through complex people issues, contribute to a positive workplace culture and lead the staff wellbeing agenda, including data analysis and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience providing a generalist HR advisory service within a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practice and employee relations.
• Experience managing a varied HR casework portfolio independently.
• Experience using HR systems and workforce data to identify trends and inform action.
• CIPD Level 5 or above qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, organisational change, recruitment, attendance management, policy development and employment legislation.
• Manage a diverse caseload and coach managers through complex people issues.
• Contribute to development of a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
• Lead staff wellbeing agenda, coordinating wellbeing initiatives and analysing workforce data.
