The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead invites applications for a Payroll Officer to join our HR service on a full-time, permanent basis. You will report to the Payroll Specialist and process payrolls for specific work areas, providing accurate payroll advice with a strong focus on customer service.

This role offers hybrid working, a competitive salary (£30,193 – £34,104 per year), and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 or GCSEs in Maths and English is required.
• Demonstrated experience in payroll administration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide payroll processing for designated work areas.
• Act as first point of contact for payroll queries.
• Perform month-end tasks and reconciliations.
• Assist with pension scheme reporting (LGPS and Teachers’ Pensions).
• Ensure service levels, accuracy and confidentiality.
• Identify process improvements and participate in training.
