Qualifications

  • 8+ years of payroll experience, ideally within partnership structures.
  • Experience with internal accounts and reconciliation required.
  • Some exposure to ex-pat/in-pat payrolls preferred.

Payroll Manager – Permanent – London – Hybrid – up to £75,000 per annum

Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a professional services firm, looking for an experienced Payroll Manager, on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for the BAU of the UK & oversea payrolls, and is on a hybrid basis, based in their central London office.

The Payroll Manager will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

  • Process, review and support the preparation of the London and overseas monthly payrolls to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee and supervise the Payroll Specialist.
  • Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports to management for approval
  • Assist with the preparation and posting of payroll related journals to the accounting system.
  • Oversee statutory returns, including Employers Annual Return Form P35, Forms P14 and P60, and support the preparation of the firm’s PAYE Settlement Agreement; process P45s.
  • Prepare all other internal and external reports on both a scheduled and ad hoc basis

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of payroll experience, ideally within a partnership structure, preferably a law firm.
  • Experience with internal accounts and reconciliation.
  • Some experience with ex-pat/in-pat payrolls
  • CIPP or similar qualification is beneficial
  • Analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business
  • Excellent communication skills
