Civica is seeking a Payroll Bureau Pensions Administrator to deliver expert pension administration to a portfolio of payroll customers. Reporting to the Pensions Manager, you will own pension-related activities throughout the payroll cycle, ensuring statutory and customer requirements are met on time.

• Experience in payroll and pensions is required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of pension administration services for allocated customer payrolls from start to finish of the payroll cycle.
• Maintain payroll bureau procedures and customer-specific processing documentation.
• Manage day-to-day pension and payroll-related queries within service levels.
• Calculate employee and employer pension contributions and adjust as needed.
• Prepare and submit statutory pension returns accurately and on time.
• Perform pension-related year-end activities and earlier year updates.
• Ensure compliance with pensions legislation and best practices.
• Support new customer implementations and changes to pension schemes.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular communication and high-quality service.
• Assist with external audits and compliance checks.
• Support testing for system upgrades and service improvements.
• Provide cover during annual leave or absence for colleagues.
• Support customer contact lines and ad-hoc projects.
