Job summary

Civica is seeking a Payroll Bureau Pensions Administrator to deliver expert pension administration for a portfolio of payroll customers. Reporting to the Pensions Manager, you will own pension activities throughout the payroll cycle and ensure statutory and customer requirements are met on time.

You will act as a trusted contact for customers, manage pension queries, maintain compliance, and build strong working relationships in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with payroll and pensions administration.
• Ability to handle pension queries and ensure compliance.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of pension administration from start to end of the payroll cycle.
• Maintain payroll procedures and customer documentation.
• Handle day-to-day pension and payroll queries within service levels.
• Calculate pension contributions and implement necessary adjustments.
• Prepare and submit statutory pension returns accurately and on time.
• Complete year-end activities and updates for pensions.
• Ensure compliance with pensions legislation and best practices.
• Support implementation of new customers and changes to schemes.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular communication.
• Support audits, compliance checks, and testing for upgrades.
