NCC Group is seeking a Payroll Advisor to manage UK payroll for about 1,100 staff from our Manchester site in a 12-month hybrid role. You will process payroll using Workday, ensure UK compliance, and support audits, inquiries, and pension auto-enrolment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years’ payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a CIPP certification is desirable. Join a collaborative finance and HR team focused on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years payroll processing experience, ideally with Workday.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Previous experience in a corporate finance or payroll department is desirable.
• CIPP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process UK payroll for ~1,100 employees accurately and on time.
• Reconcile payroll data to ensure compliance with UK regulations.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to manage pension contributions and auto-enrolment.
• Support monthly submissions and payroll audits.
• Issue P45s and document payroll adjustments.
