Job summary

Tarmac is seeking a Payroll Administrator on a 6-month fixed-term contract to lead the Payroll Benefits in Kind implementation within the SAP ECC Payroll environment. You will collaborate with the Payroll Manager across requirements, testing and deployment to ensure a smooth transition to BAU.

The role requires payroll expertise, strong organisation and stakeholder management, and experience with payroll projects or system changes.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll administration experience.
• Good understanding of UK payroll legislation.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with payroll data.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Document business requirements, project actions and decisions.
• Perform payroll data validation, analysis and reconciliations.
• Assist with SIT, Parallel Runs and UAT testing activities.
• Log, track and support resolution of testing defects.
• Validate payroll calculations and outputs and produce governance reports.
• Support training and business readiness activities for BAU transition.
