Tarmac, part of CRH, is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead a Payroll Benefits in Kind (PBIK) transformation on SAP ECC within its Solihull-based team. This 6-month fixed-term contract requires strong UK payroll expertise and cross-functional collaboration across Payroll, Reward, Finance, HR and IT.

The role focuses on delivering HMRC-compliant payroll changes, managing UAT, and ensuring governance and readiness for a significant live deadline. Hybrid working in Solihull is offered.

Formación

• Significant UK payroll management experience.
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC compliance.
• Proven SAP ECC Payroll expertise and implementation experience.
• Experience delivering payroll legislation changes, transformation programmes or PBIK projects.
• Excellent project delivery, business analysis and testing experience.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Desirable: CIPP membership
• Previous experience leading complex payroll change programmes within large organisations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the end-to-end Payroll Benefits in Kind implementation programme.
• Act as the payroll SME, providing expert guidance on payroll, benefits and HMRC compliance requirements.
• Gather, document and validate business requirements across Payroll, Reward, Finance and HR teams.
• Partner with IT and third-party providers throughout design, configuration and build phases.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution and business sign-off.
• Deliver programme governance, stakeholder reporting and RAID management.
• Drive business readiness and ensure a successful implementation ahead of the April 2027 deadline.
