Job summary

Northgate Surgery in Pontefract is seeking a Patient Services Advisor to join our busy Patient Services Team. You will book appointments, guide patients to the right service, and handle online requests using SystmConnect and GP billing systems, while maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records.

Working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 8:00am and 6:30pm, you will collaborate with GP practice staff and participate in training to support excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Booking appointments and helping patients access the right healthcare professional or service.
• Managing online patient requests through SystmConnect, email enquiries, and GP billing systems.
• Responding to patient queries and providing excellent customer service in person, by telephone, and online.
• Registering new patients and temporary residents with the practice.
• Processing payments for non-NHS services in line with practice procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Booking appointments and guiding patients to the appropriate service.
• Handling patient queries across in-person, phone, and online channels.
• Managing online requests via SystmConnect and GP billing systems.
• Registering new patients and temporary residents.
