East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Patient Administrator to join the Referral Management and Booking team in Nelson. The 30-hour per week role starts at Band 2 with progression to Band 3 on competency, for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will manage referrals, book appointments, liaise with patients and professionals, and ensure accurate data handling using EMIS and CERNER in a busy clinical environment.

Qualificações

• GCSE English and Maths at level 4-9 or equivalent.
• Customer Care NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or working towards.
• Proven experience in administrative roles and data handling.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately record and process referrals and appointments in line with clinical triage and KPIs.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into EMIS and CERNER systems.
• Handle telephone enquiries from patients, carers, professionals courteously.
• Provide cover across services and support service improvement discussions.
• Communicate appointment details via phone, email, letter or text.
• Maintain patient records and ensure data protection compliance.
