Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Patient Pathway Assistant / Reception for the CTC Outpatients. The role supports smooth patient journeys, provides receptionist duties across clinical staff, and ensures services meet 18-week referral-to-treatment targets.

Qualifications

• High accuracy keyboard skills required.
• Experience working within an NHS environment is preferred.
• Experience as a receptionist is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Use EPR to book patients in for clinic attendance.
• Use EPR to book follow up appointments.
• Understand the 18-week Pathway and related targets.
• Handle patient queries on the telephone.
• Scan and file paperwork.
• Be flexible with day-to-day admin duties.
