Job summary

Optical Express in Birmingham is seeking a Patient Advisor to deliver excellent patient care and a five-star service. You will help patients feel comfortable, communicate clearly with ophthalmic professionals, and support the patient journey from consultation to post-treatment follow-up.

The role includes building patient relationships, performing diagnostic eye scans (training provided), relaying information to optometrists, managing patient records, arranging finance options, and scheduling

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated to work with or without supervision.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Commercial awareness while delivering world-class customer service.
Driven and passionate with a willingness to succeed.

Responsibilities

Building a strong relationship with our patients.
Performing diagnostic eye scans (full training provided).
Relaying patient information to the optometrist to ensure a smooth patient journey.
Maintaining patient records with accurate and up-to-date information.
Arranging finance options to suit each patient.
Scheduling consultations and surgeries with our optometrists and surgeons.
