Job summary

Optical Express is seeking a Patient Advisor to deliver exceptional patient care at our Swansea clinics. You will be the first point of contact, building strong relationships with patients and guiding them through pre- and post-treatment journeys.

In this role you will scan patients’ eyes with cutting-edge equipment, assist with consultations, and help patients understand financing options. A passion for service and KPI-driven mindset will help you thrive in a busy, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering world-class customer service in a healthcare or retail setting.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Clear communication with a diverse range of patients and colleagues.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets or personal KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients and maintain regular communication before and after treatment.
• Assist in patient consultations and guide them through the process.
• Scan patients' eyes using state-of-the-art equipment as part of a health check.
• Help patients complete health questionnaires and enter data accurately.
• Introduce patients to their optometrist and coordinate next steps.
• Schedule treatment dates and discuss available finance options.
• Accurately maintain patient records and documentation.
