Job summary

Circle Integrated Care in Bedford is seeking a Patient Administrator to join on a bank basis. The role supports the patient journey, handles bookings and queries, and covers shifts as needed.

This bank position offers flexibility to supplement staffing during busy periods, with an hourly rate up to £15.35 depending on experience and qualifications. Prior private healthcare administration experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at A–C (or equivalent) required.
• Proficient PC skills and familiarity with standard software systems.
• Basic financial awareness and numerical competency.
• Experience in private healthcare administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support smooth patient administration throughout the patient journey.
• Follow Circle Health Group best practice maps to provide a consistent service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Handle patient queries promptly and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings received via the system and update bookings received via email.
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and act to protect patients, staff, visitors and contractors.
• Complete mandatory training as required.
