Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Patient Administrator (Bank) to support two sites during busy periods. The role covers the patient journey from booking to post-visit, with a focus on efficient administration and responsive service.

Your shifts are across The Chiltern Hospital, Great Missenden and The Shelburne Hospital, High Wycombe, with earliest start 07:00 and latest finish 22:00, Monday to Friday, plus occasional weekend work as required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems
• Basic financial awareness
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey
• Ensure Circle Health Group best practice process maps are followed, to provide a standard service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff
• Handle all patient queries efficiently and professionally
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail
• Approve electronic bookings via the relevant system and update bookings received via email
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure measures are taken for patients, relatives, visitors, staff and contractors
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training
