Job summary

SSP operates two GP practice sites in Ashton-in-Makerfield and Golborne and seeks an Administrator / Care Navigator to cover a maternity leave period. You will ensure patients are welcomed, appointments are coordinated efficiently, and routine administrative tasks support the smooth running of the practices.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling a range of enquiries and assisting patients to access services and community resources as needed.

Qualifications

• First point of contact for patients; provide welcoming, professional service.
• Arrange patient appointments and handle telephone enquiries.
• Carry out general administrative duties to support practice operations.
• Deal with telephone, face-to-face and electronic enquiries and book or amend appointments.
• Support access to services and local community resources.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage reception tasks across two GP sites.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and home visit arrangements.
• Process inquiries via phone, in person and online accurately and promptly.
