Anlaby Surgery is seeking a part-time Care Navigator for its busy reception and front desk. The role focuses on guiding patients to the right service, booking appointments, and handling registrations and repeat prescriptions.

You will work closely with GPs and the practice team in a busy environment; prior GP reception or care navigator experience is essential to succeed in this post.

Qualifikationen

• Previous GP practice experience
• Previous receptionist or care navigator experience in a busy environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, face to face and by telephone
• Excellent telephone manner
• Good organisational skills
• IT competence
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Use of initiative and discretion

Aufgaben

• Receive, assist and direct patients to the appropriate service or healthcare professional courteously and efficiently
• Provide general assistance to the practice team and a friendly, professional image to patients and visitors in person and by telephone
• Process appointment requests for today and future appointments by telephone and in person
• Deal with visits and requests
• Receive patients and consult with members of the practice team
• Perform all reception duties as necessary
• Register new patients, including computer data entry and medical records
• Process patients' changes of address on the computer and in medical records
• Process repeat prescription requests in line with practice guidelines
• Know all practice procedures and work to written protocols
• Protect patient and practice information in line with confidentiality policies
