Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is recruiting a Band 3 Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator in the Gynaecology Division at Saint Mary's Hospital, Manchester. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the patient pathway from referral through treatment and discharge, working with clinical teams and colleagues.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, familiarity with NHS processes, and the ability to prioritise in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Good general education or diploma.
• Experience dealing with customer complaints and customer care.
• Computer literate with keyboard skills.
• Good organisation skills and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of medical terminology and NHS service provision including RTT.

Responsibilities

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff at all levels.
• Engage with patients daily regarding their care and next steps in their pathway.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and manage changing priorities calmly and professionally.
• Have working knowledge of MS software and data collection skills.
• Experience in NHS hospital or admin role and understanding of clinical pathways.
