Job summary

Corinthia London is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to oversee bakery and pastry production within our luxury hotel, including breads, plated desserts, cakes and afternoon tea items.

You will maintain the highest standards, work under pressure, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience for high-profile visitors. You will mentor your team and continuously refine techniques to push creativity in a 5-star environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates high-level pastry skills across sugar, chocolate, bread, plated desserts and afternoon tea.
• Excellent English communication and presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet luxury hotel standards.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, prepare and service all bakery and pastry items (breads, plated desserts, cakes, afternoon tea).
• Maintain highest quality standards consistent with a 5-star luxury hotel.
• Lead and support pastry brigade to maximise resources and guest satisfaction.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Pastry Chef de Partie is responsible for the supervision, preparation and service of all bakery and pastry items within Corinthia London, to include breads, plated desserts, cakes, and afternoon tea items.
The Pastry Chef needs to ensure that the highest standards are maintained at all times in keeping with a luxury hotel whilst ensuring the brigade maximizes their resources.
