Job summary

Proactive Personnel Ltd in Birmingham is recruiting a Parts Coordinator to join its aftermarket team. You will support customers, process orders, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure excellent service delivery.

Ideal candidates will have experience in parts sales or aftermarket support, strong administration skills, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Training will be provided to build product and ERP system familiarity.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts sales or aftermarket support.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Act as a primary point of contact for designated customers and distributors.
• Process customer orders, returns, and daily enquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Manage aftermarket parts contracts, maintaining pricing structures, discounts, and records.
• Coordinate order processing through ERP/business systems.
• Liaise with production and manufacturing teams to determine lead times and manage overdue orders.
• Produce and maintain reports covering outstanding orders, overdue parts, sales activity, and customer requirements.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance on parts identification and availability.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.
• Support the purchasing and procurement teams with sourcing requirements.
• Promote additional sales opportunities across the existing product portfolio.
• Complete general administrative duties including filing, spreadsheet management, and report creation.
