Duties of the Parts Advisor:

• Support the Parts Department in daily operations, including ordering parts and managing stock levels
• Assist technicians and service advisors with parts enquiries and availability updates
• Identify and supply vehicle parts using manufacturer and aftermarket catalogues
• Support the wider Aftersales team with customer enquiries and bookings
• Manage stock levels, returns, and obsolescence to improve profitability
• Deliver excellent customer service face-to-face and via telephone
• Support the workshop by pre-picking parts ahead of appointments to ensure efficient parts flow
• Maintain accurate records and support inventory management processes

Requirements of the Parts Advisor:

• Previous experience within an automotive Parts Department, motor factor, or similar environment
• Sound knowledge of vehicle parts identification and cataloguing systems
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities
• Strong IT skills, including experience with dealer management and parts catalogue systems
• Professional communication skills, with a friendly telephone manner
• Full UK driving licence
