Job summary

Searley Owen Limited in Epping is seeking a Parts Coordinator to manage enquiries, identify parts, prepare quotations and process orders.

The role includes stock checks, liaising with suppliers, and occasional picking/packing; you will work closely with engineers and stores to keep customers informed on delivery times.

Experience in parts sales or engineering supplies is preferred and you should be comfortable using computer systems for order processing.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts sales, parts coordination or engineering supplies.
• Experience handling customer enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Comfortable using computer systems for order processing and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries for spare parts and replacement components.
• Identify parts using part numbers, product information and drawings.
• Prepare quotations and process customer orders.
• Check stock availability and arrange purchasing as needed.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery times.
• Follow up quotations and outstanding orders.
• Keep customers updated on order progress and delivery times.
• Pick, pack and prepare parts for dispatch when required.
• Collaborate with engineers, stores and other internal departments.
• Maintain accurate stock, purchasing and order records.
