Additional Resources Ltd. is seeking a Parts Advisor to support a busy dealership's parts department.

You will provide parts for workshop and retail customers, source and order correct parts, and liaise with technicians, service teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery. The role requires about 2 years of experience in a motor trade parts department, good customer service, a full driving licence, and familiarity with stock management systems such as Pinnacle.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar parts role.
• Experience working in a motor trade Parts Department is preferred.
• Strong customer service and professional approach.
• GCSE or equivalent qualification and a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supplying parts to workshop and retail customers.

• Checking availability, costs and expected delivery times.
• Monitoring stock levels and performing regular stock checks.
• Receiving, checking and storing delivered parts correctly.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join a well-established car dealership, providing vehicle sales, servicing, repairs and parts support to customers across the region.

As a Parts Advisor, you'll ensure the workshop and customers receive the right parts efficiently, working closely with technicians, suppliers and service teams.

This full-time role offers basic salary of £27,700 with OTE up to £32,000 and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Supplying parts to workshop and retail customers.
• Identifying, sourcing and ordering the correct parts.
• Checking availability, costs and expected delivery times.
• Monitoring stock levels and completing regular stock checks.
• Receiving, checking and storing delivered parts correctly.
• Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records.
• Working closely with Service and Sales teams.
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Handling customer enquiries professionally by telephone and face-to-face.
• Maintaining an organised and efficient Parts Department.

Candidates from the following background will be considered:

• Parts Advisor, Parts Adviser, Parts Sales Advisor, Parts Consultant, Parts Specialist or in a similar role.

What we are looking for:

• Approx. 2 years of experience as a Parts Advisor.
• Experience working within a motor trade Parts Department, ideally within a dealership environment
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach
• Background in using computerised parts and stock management systems; ideally Pinnacle.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to increase parts sales
• GCSE or equivalent qualification
• A full driving licence
