Job summary

Igloo Ltd in Northampton is seeking an organised Parts Advisor to join a busy automotive repair centre. You will order, receive and manage vehicle parts, liaise with suppliers, monitor stock and help meet repair timescales. This full-time, permanent role offers clear career development within the automotive repair industry. Mon-Fri, on-site in Northampton.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts, stores or accident repair environment preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and reliable timekeeping.
• Confident communication and ability to work well within a team.

• Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
• Proactive, reliable and organised approach to work.

Responsibilities

The Role:

• Order, receive and manage vehicle parts accurately.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and workshop technicians.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure parts are available when required.
• Support the workshop in meeting repair timescales and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate stock records and documentation.
• Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of workshop operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in an automotive parts, stores or accident repair environment is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and good timekeeping.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

What We Offer:

• £14.00-£14.50 per hour, depending on experience.
