Job summary

Igloo is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our automotive operation in Thurleigh. You will support workshop activities by managing stock, handling enquiries and liaising with suppliers. A strong background in parts or stores, plus car knowledge, is essential for success.

We’re recruiting an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This is a great opportunity for someone with parts or stores experience to join a professional automotive environment and support the smooth running of workshop operations.

The Role:

• Receive deliveries and dispatch vehicle parts.
• Manage and update stock control systems.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing and availability.
• Provide quotes and respond to parts enquiries.
• Support workshop and operational teams with parts requests.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties as required by management.
• Handle some heavy lifting where required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a parts, stores or automotive role.
• Knowledge of cars and vehicle parts.
• Strong organisational and computer skills.
• Good attention to detail and communication skills.
• Reliable, proactive and organised approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
