Job summary

Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd in Sutterton, Lincolnshire is seeking a motivated Parts Advisor to join our established team. You will support customers and service technicians with machinery parts enquiries, process orders, and help maintain an exceptional customer experience both in-person and on the phone.

The role is permanent, full-time, 39 hours per week, with hours Monday-Thursday 8:00–16:30 and Friday 8:00–15:30; overtime paid after 39 hours.

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our established team at our Sutterton branch located in Lincolnshire.

Reporting to the Parts & Retail Manager, you will play a key role in supporting customers and service technicians with machinery parts enquiries, processing orders, and delivering an exceptional customer experience both in person and over the phone.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting customers and technicians with parts enquiries
• Processing and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions
• Promoting products and services to maximise sales opportunities
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department
• Handling payments and ensuring accurate administration

Additional Information:

Start Date: Immediate, but subject to candidates notice period

Hours: 39 hours per week basic – Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm & Friday 8am to 3:30pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) Saturdays as per rota. (Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours Monday to Friday)

Contract: Permanent, Full time, Hourly Paid

Salary: £Competitive, depending on experience
