Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Lincoln is recruiting an experienced Parts Advisor for a busy main dealership. You will work across front and back counters supporting Trade, Retail and Workshop customers and ensure parts are ordered, sold and stocked efficiently.

The role requires knowledge of Kerridge, 1Link or Pinnacle (DMS), strong customer service, sales skills and the ability to thrive in a busy dealership environment. Monday to Friday with Saturday rotation.

Qualifications

• Experience in an automotive parts role.
• Experience across Trade, Retail and Workshop counters.
• Knowledge of DMS systems Kerridge, 1Link or Pinnacle.

Responsibilities

• Work across the front and back counter, supporting Trade, Retail and Workshop customers.
• Order, sell and supply a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories.
• Manage stock levels and assist with stock control.
• Handle a high volume of incoming calls and customer enquiries.
• Identify the correct parts quickly and accurately.
• Liaise with Vehicle Technicians, Service Advisors and external customers.
• Process parts orders and ensure excellent levels of customer service.
• Upsell relevant parts and accessories where appropriate.

PARTS ADVISOR

Location: Lincoln

Salary: Up to £35,000 Inc OTE

Contract: Permanent or Temporary Contract Available

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm + Every Other Saturday, 8:00am to 1:00pm

We are recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy and well-established main dealership in Lincoln. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong automotive parts experience who is confident working across trade, retail and workshop customers.

THE ROLE

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting both customers and the workshop while ensuring parts are ordered, supplied and managed efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working across the front and back counter, supporting Trade, Retail and Workshop customers
• Ordering, selling and supplying a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories
• Managing stock levels and assisting with stock control
• Handling a high volume of incoming calls and customer enquiries
• Identifying the correct parts quickly and accurately
• Liaising closely with Vehicle Technicians, Service Advisors and external customers
• Processing parts orders and ensuring excellent levels of customer service
• Upselling relevant parts and accessories where appropriate

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced Parts Advisor with:

• Previous experience within an automotive Parts Advisor role
• Experience working across Trade, Retail and Workshop counters
• Knowledge of Kerridge, 1Link, Pinnacle or a similar DMS system
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confidence in sales and upselling
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively in a busy dealership environment
